| The Checkerboard Room displays an 1880s geometric wallpaper border and stenciling. It includes a queen size brass bed with a half canopy over it, cable TV with DVD player, a turn of the century oak dresser with owl-head pulls, an Art Nouveau armoire and a Craftsman stlye rocker and easy chair. The Checkerboard Room also has an Ocean View that you can see when you sit up in bed! It is air conditioned. The bathroom for the Checkerboard Room is private and not shared with any other room (the room key also locks the bathroom door), but is down the hallway. This room comes with guaranteed parking for one car in the city parking lot on Bank Street (we give you a parking permit when you check in). |
