The Empire Room is furnished with American-Empire furniture (1815-1859) and features a queen size mahogany sleigh bed topped by a canopy. It is painted a soft pink that Victorians called "Ashes of Roses" and has a turquoise floor that is a color called “eau de Nile”. The lambrequins over the windows are pink with a turquoise lining that reflects the colors in the room. It includes an 1893 wallpaper border, stenciling, and marbleizing. The Empire Room is air conditioned, has cable TV with DVD player, an Ocean View, and has a private bathroom which contains a shower. This room comes with guaranteed parking for one car in the city parking lot on Bank Street (we give you a parking permit when you check in).
