Spas
Cape May has the sun and the sea air, the ocean, walking on the beach and through the streets. But we also have more organized fitness activities; yoga on the beach, several spas and health clubs, tennis and golf.
The Cape May Day Spa. The owner and chief masseur is also an architect, and designed their building at the corner of Jefferson Street and Columbia Avenue – only a few blocks from Leith Hall. (609) 884-1003. They offer massage, several packages, and the gamut of spa treatments.
The Well Center is on Broadway near Sunset Boulevard in West Cape May. They also offer massage and a wide range of spa treatments. We have had guests who were professional masseurs who praised the treatments here highly. (609) 884-3177

Mats are availible. Bring your own if you have it with you. If you come to the early morning
beach practice, a towel works better on the sand. Bring water.
All classes are $15. Classes are bassed on the Ashtanga flow or vinyasa style yoga. Emphasis is on the breath, concentration, and safety. Every class ends with relaxation in savasana.
In West Cape May, there is a yoga and Pilates studio with many enthusiastic local followers:

Tennis
For tennis we have a great Tennis Club which is open to visitors, inexpensive and well maintained. It was founded by Dr. Emlen Physick and William Moore as is on land right next to the Physick Estate – Cape May’s Victorian House Museum.
You can walk over from Leith Hall by going up Washington Street, turning right and continuing about five blocks. If you want to drive, they have parking.
